Who am I and What is This Blog About?
Thank you so much for visiting my blog! Since this is my first blog post – I want to briefly introduce myself and what this blog is about.
First and foremost, I am a committed wife to a wonderful man, and a mother to two boys, ages 7 and 4. I work at home mostly when my kids are still sleeping. By “work” I mean doing things that I enjoy that brings in an income for my family. I do that with my book “Scheduled Balance” sales and by coaching moms who want to live a purpose driven life.
I also homeschool my boys – it’s something I never thought I’d do, but listening to my heart, it’s the right choice for our little family and the kids and I enjoy it very much!
I’ve worked really hard to be where I am today. My life used to be chaotic (some days still are) and through much effort, reading, writing, and inner work – I am growing to be the wife, mother, and woman God created me to be!
Back in 2012 – I started my first online business and had no idea what a huge impact it will have on me as a person. I began to read a lot of business books, attended many networking events, conferences, and workshops. I learn a LOT about different marketing tactics, social media trends, networking, creating products, growing teams and everything else there is to know about online marketing.
But you know what?
All that I’ve learned was secondary.
I discovered that there are so much more deeper and more important things to know, understand, and experience.
I came to believe that I must find myself first.
To find that sense of purpose, to figure out my strengths, gifts, values, and my mission here on earth.
Living life to the fullest, waking up in the morning with excitement for the day, feeling wanted, needed, and loved – those are the fruit of a purpose driven life.
This is why I started this blog. To share what I’ve learned and experienced and to hopefully inspire and encourage you to live a life that you love.
Here are just some of the things I believe in and what I will be sharing on this blog:
- Give thanks in all circumstances. (1 Thessalonians 5:18)
- The only person that can make you happy is yourself.
- Happiness is an inside job.
- The grass is not greener on the other side.
- Everything you tell yourself becomes your reality.
- You have the power to be who you want to become.
- Love is most powerful force in the world – use it daily.
- Whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them. (Matthew 7:12)
Thank you so much for taking your time and reading through this post! I’m so excited to share more with you in the weeks to come!
